The Western Region Public Health Training Center, University of Hawaii at Manoa’s Offie of Public Health, and Hawaii Public Health Training Hui is hosting a free training on opioid use, abuse and solutions. This training is available in-person at the Queen’s Medical Center’s conference room and online via Zoom.
Heather Lusk, Executive Director of the Life Foundation and CHOW Project is the guest speaker. Community health workers, certified substance abuse counselors, nurses, and social workers may earn up to 1.5 hours of continuing education.
